Lynchburg Grows Veggie Box CSA

Lynchburg Grows is a nonprofit urban farm. Our mission is to work with our community to provide access to healthy food and afford purposeful jobs to individuals with disabilities. We have a 200-member CSA program and an on-site Farm Store open every Thursday, 9am to 1pm, throughout the growing season. Whether customers shop at the Farm Store or join the CSA, they can get the produce we raise, using all organic methods, plus produce and fruit from other local farms, local eggs, and artisanal foods. A scholarship fund makes CSA memberships available to people who need financial help to join. SNAP/EBT users get 50% off their CSA memberships and Farm Store purchases of fruit and vegetables. We also run a produce prescription program in partnership with Virginia Cooperative Extension, called FreshRx, which provides nutrition and cooking education along with free produce and we donate produce to area organizations working to help meet basic needs in the community.
